This policy explains how Fidora Studio handles information collected through this website and through the consultations we run. It applies to anyone who visits the site, books a call with us, or corresponds with us about a possible project.
It does not cover systems we build and operate on behalf of a client. Those are governed by the agreement signed with that client, and the client remains responsible for the data held inside them.
The only information we ask for directly is what you provide when you book a consultation or write to us about a project. That typically means your name, an email address, a company name, and whatever you choose to tell us about your business.
You decide how much to share. If you would rather not describe your operation in writing before speaking to someone, book a call and tell us on the call instead.
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when a page is requested: the pages viewed, the approximate region the request came from, the referring link, and general details about the browser and device. This is used to understand which pages are useful and to diagnose faults.
We do not use this information to build advertising profiles, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it.
Consultations are booked through Cal.com, which is embedded on our contact section. When you choose a time, the details you enter are submitted to Cal.com and processed on their systems under their own privacy policy and terms.
We receive the resulting booking, which includes the name, email address, chosen time and any answers you gave to the booking questions. We use those details to hold the meeting and to follow up about it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent, trade or otherwise share it for anyone else's marketing. We do not add people to a mailing list because they booked a consultation.
If we ever want to write about work we did for you, we will ask first, and a no costs you nothing.
Our own pages use browser storage sparingly, and only for practical things such as remembering a preference you set while reading.
The embedded scheduling tool sets its own cookies in order to function. If you block cookies for that provider, the booking calendar may not load correctly. Most browsers let you review and clear stored data per site.
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept only as long as they are useful for following up, and are then deleted.
Records connected to an actual engagement are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards for the period required by contract, accounting and tax rules. Where we no longer need something, we remove it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to receive a copy of it, or to object to particular uses of it.
You can exercise any of these by contacting us. We will not charge you for a reasonable request, and we will not treat you differently for making one.
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the accounts and tools that hold enquiry information is restricted to the people who need it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach occurs that affects your information, we will tell you and any relevant regulator as required.
This site is intended for businesses and the people who run them. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the date shown above. Where a change is significant, we will make that clear rather than quietly editing the text.
